NPO Bank Check: dashboard guide

Match the full organisation name against its bank account. Registration or ID number is optional.

Use the full NPO name. Use the full NPO name recorded by the bank for the account-name check. Abbreviated account labels can return a name mismatch.

1. Open NPO Bank Check

In the dashboard, open Bank → NPO Bank Check. The NPO tab opens the asynchronous check.

2. Use the full NPO name

Use the full NPO name recorded by the bank for the account-name check. Abbreviated account labels can return a name mismatch. If the account-name label is shortened, check the full organisation name in the bank confirmation wording.

3. Enter the bank details

Enter the bank name, six-digit branch code and account number. Add the account type when available. Leave registration / ID empty if you do not have it.

4. Confirm and submit

Record the purpose, confirm consent and submit. The success notice confirms that the job was accepted and links to the submitted check.

5. Track processing

Open the job under Recent checks or use Refresh. Bank processing can take several hours or the next bank window. Keep the required credits available. The dashboard sends a report-ready email.

6. Read and download the report

Verified means the account was found, is open and matches the supplied full name. Supplied optional fields must also match. Download the authenticated PDF within seven days.

What “Not provided” means

An omitted identifier appears as Not provided and does not turn a name-and-account match into review. If you supply an identifier, its returned match must pass. Missing or mismatched required checks return review.

Pending checks and retries

Submission and completion are separate stages. Refresh the saved job to see progress. If the original submission could not be confirmed, retry with the same details and retain the request reference. A new submission can create another billable check. A job without a final result times out after 48 hours.

Completed production results, including review, use the configured NPO price. Failed verification results use zero customer credits. See NPO pricing.
