Included in your template

You host and manage your own website, which runs checks through the VerifyNow API. Manage your VerifyNow account, API key and verification credits on the VerifyNow dashboard. Your website stores the API key on its server.

  • Editable source code for a dashboard with your company name, logo and colour, using the VerifyNow dashboard style.
  • Website sign-in with email verification, password reset, invitations and admin/staff roles for access to your self-hosted site.
  • 25 API check forms covering identity, company, bank, tracing, vehicle, AML, biometric and document checks. Services requiring a separate licence are excluded.
  • Branded reports for printing or saving as PDF, with receipt history and result recovery during the 24-hour delivery window.
  • An optional landing page and optional checkout connected to your own Paystack account. Refunds are handled manually.
  • A config example for your VerifyNow API key, database, email and payment settings; database setup scripts; Vercel, Docker/VPS and cPanel/Node.js instructions.

Pay upfront, then your hosted brand is reviewed and its domain configured. For self-hosting, configure your database, email and API connection.

Complete the applicable payment and setup, then invite your staff. Verification checks use your available credits.

BEFORE YOU START

details.

Understand the costs, hosting responsibilities and licence before choosing your setup.

What does the hosted payment include?

Hosted setup costs R1,999 once. The first payment is R2,746,50, including the first month. Each paid month costs R747,50 and adds 250 verification credits. All prices include VAT.

Do unused credits carry over?

Yes. Unused credits carry over in your organisation’s VerifyNow account. Each check uses credits at the applicable service rate. You can buy more when needed.

Can I use my own domain?

The hosted option supports a company.verifynow.co.za address or your own subdomain, such as verify.yourcompany.co.za. After upfront payment, your business, brand and hostname are reviewed. DNS and HTTPS must be ready before activation.

What do I need to host the template?

You need Node.js-capable hosting, PostgreSQL, email delivery and a VerifyNow API key. Vercel, a VPS or a suitable cPanel plan are deployment options; confirm the chosen plan meets the template requirements. Your team manages deployment, security and staff accounts. Hosting and verification credits are separate costs.

What does the licence cover?

One business and one brand, with one testing deployment. You may edit the self-hosted source for your licensed business. Redistribution, sublicensing or use for another business requires a separate written agreement.

What happens if I cancel hosted billing?

An organisation owner or admin can cancel from white-label setup. Hosted access continues until the paid period ends. Existing credits remain in the organisation’s VerifyNow account.
